It’s A Boy!

Zephyr Dawn was born on Saturday, December 4th, at 11:22 am and was a healthy 7lb 7oz. Mama and baby (and papa and brother) are all doing well, and enjoying some quiet family time (and surprisingly getting some pretty good sleep).

You’re welcome! Here are some non-sleep at 234a new dad pro-tips. If you have a DVR, choose things you can enjoy without sound.
For example, soccer. Especially plentiful futbol broadcast on Spanish language channels. I fell in love with UNAM Pumas in the early mornings with my boys. I have a t-shirt and jersey to prove it.
Or, muted West Wing DVDs with the sub-titles on. A much different show when you can read all the dialog, instead of trying to follow along and catch up.
Sounds like a good plan. I have some Walking Dead on the DVR right now – probably not appropriate middle-of-the-night with baby material, though, if only because it will creep me the hell out.

Wow! What an amazing new addition to the human race! He is cuter than most babies I’VE seen (IMHO). Cute as a bug. (I never did understand that expression, but it seems to fit.)
